The ARC PepAuditNet system was developed in conjunction with and to build on the success of the ARC PepNet system, with the primary objective of streamlining and managing the practice area auditing process in line with statuary requirements.
The system offers an intuitive and logical way of navigating the user through the complex process of ensuring that each practice area is successfully audited. It also deals with statuary standards (e.g. NMC), providing the necessary linkages between standards and placement evaluation so as to make available any supporting evidence. It is also capable of recording and monitoring any associated action plans giving the option of defining accountability i.e. placement area staff, trust managers or university staff etc.
Finally as part of the audit process the system allows the user to record the audited placement capacity, documenting that there is sufficient supply of mentors/sign-off mentors within the placement to support the number of students.
